Burano

Burano island, a 40 minute ride on public water bus from Venice, easy to explore in one day on foot. Famous for its rainbow coloured houses and the hand made lace.

Catch vaporetto line 12 from Fondamenta Nove in Venice and get off at the Burano Stop.

Walk along the main avenue, turn left following the signs for Museo Del Merletto, the Lace Museum, located in Piazza Galuppi, the only square in Burano, and there you we will find us.
